Job Description:
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user interface and user experience design, with a proven ability to lead a team and drive the design vision for our products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX designers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand user requirements and business goals.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on design solutions.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices and design standards across all projects.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind design choices.
- Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous learning within the design team.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in UI/UX or design.
- Proven experience in a leadership or team lead role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and processes.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Experience with conducting user research and usability testing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Knowledge of design systems and design ops.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in designing for accessibility and inclusive design practices.
