WordPress/Shopify Developer - Night shift

Key Responsibilities:

1. WooCommerce Platform Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the WooCommerce platform.
• Configure and maintain product listings, pricing, and inventory.
• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues related to the e-commerce platform.

1. Customization and Development:

• Implement and customize WooCommerce themes and plugins to enhance the functionality and appearance of the online store.
• Collaborate with developers to create custom features and functionalities as needed.
• Ensure the website is responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.

1. Payment Gateway Integration:

• Manage and integrate payment gateways to facilitate secure and efficient online transactions.
• Stay updated on the latest payment technologies and implement improvements as necessary.

1. SEO Optimization:

• Implement SEO best practices to enhance the visibility of products on search engines.
• Optimize product pages, metadata, and other elements to improve search engine rankings.

1. Analytics and Reporting:

• Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze e-commerce performance metrics.
• Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for continuous improvement.

1. User Experience (UX) Enhancement:

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve the overall user experience of the online store.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback for ongoing enhancements.

1. Security and Compliance:

• Implement security measures to protect customer data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay informed about industry standards and implement best practices for data protection.

Qualifications:

• 5+  years of experience in wordpress specifically in WOOCOMMERCE 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a WooCommerce Specialist or in a similar e-commerce role.
• Strong knowledge of WooCommerce, WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with payment gateway integration and e-commerce best practices.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in WooCommerce or relevant e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
• Knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
